Greggs mince pies go down a treat with top tasting panels

We are celebrating glowing accolades in Woman's Own, Woman's Weekly, Woman, and Yours after our mince pies underwent rigorous taste testing.

Woman magazine crowned the mince pies 'Bakery Best' in their food awards after sampling hundreds of supermarket buys.

Yours magazine tested the best of yuletide food and found Greggs mince pies superb value, crumbly and fresh with 'wonderful' spice flavoured mincemeat.

The mince pies also clinched the top spot in the Woman's Weekly Christmas food taste test, with their 'melt-in-the-mouth pastry and tasty mincemeat' and 'home-made look and taste'.

Woman's Own awarded the mince pies a huge 5 out of 5 rating.

Greggs said: "We're delighted to have received the fantastic accolades from these established magazines, it's a superb achievement. Our bakers work hard every year to achieve great tasting festive treats and it seems our efforts have been rewarded."
