2 Twitter followers won a year of free Greggs lunches, just for tweeting #dealofthesummer. And, for visitors to our website and our fans on Facebook, we offered to swap free lunches for your photos in a series of 8 ‘photo deals’.
Yes! This summer there really was such a thing as a free lunch - and we called it the Greggs Deal of the Summer.
During the Greggs Deal of the Summer we ran 8 fun ‘photo deals’, receiving hundreds of amazing entries and giving away hundreds of free Greggs lunches. Did you enter? We want to say a HUGE THANKS to everyone who took part - there were some truly fantastic photo entries - and you had us all at Greggs towers laughing our socks off.
Deal 1 - The Head Sandwich In honour of Greggs sandwiches, we got you to sandwich your head with hands, books, friends... anything!
Deal 2 - I’m a Claire! We love an éclair - especially when it’s an éclair filled with fresh cream - mmm... éclairs! Sorry - we’re getting distracted. This photo deal was simple - we just asked you to hold up a sign saying ‘I’m a Claire!’ And you did! Lots and lots and lots of you...
Deal 3 - The Sausage Stroll! Our sausage rolls are really popular - and so was this photo deal. We just asked you to take a sausage roll for a stroll and snap a picture.
Deal 4 - The Great Greggs Grin! Does Greggs make you grin? We certainly got these people smiling... and winning free lunches.
Deal 5 - Gingerbread Head! We decided it was time to ask you to get your pens and pencils out and to be even more creative... and Gingerbread Head was born.
