#HaveAHeart to support the Greggs Foundation Breakfast Clubs
We need your help to give children a brighter start to the school day
Starting from 28th April, we’re dedicating a whole week to The Greggs Foundation and raising funds for the amazing work they do with Breakfast Clubs and local communities .
Last year, we raised enough money to fund over 750,000 free breakfasts for school children thanks to generous donations from customers and fantastic fundraising across our shops.
We know the impact of the cost-of-living crisis is having an effect on daily life. Hungry children find it harder to concentrate and learn – which is why it’s more important than ever to help make sure that every child starts the day with a nutritious meal.
You can donate to The Greggs Foundation at any time, but did you know that there’s several other ways you can help to support our Breakfast Club programme during this week?
How can you help?
Have a heart
Every time you buy a Jammy Heart Biscuit from Greggs, 5p of that sale goes to The Greggs Foundation. This doubles to 10p during appeal week! Last year, we raised over £150,000 for The Greggs Foundation with these tasty treats. Grab a Jammy Heart Biscuit on your next coffee run or buy one for someone you love if you’re feeling extra generous.

Our colleagues never fail to step up when it comes to supporting charitable causes, and the Breakfast Club Appeal Week is no different. From fancy dress to a classic game of bingo – we like to think we’re seasoned fundraisers who know exactly how to get everybody involved. Support your local teams by donating into one of our charity buckets or adding 25p onto your order at the till.
Add 25p to your Click + Collect order
Just 25p buys a breakfast for one of over 62,000 children who attend a Breakfast Club for some much-needed morning fuel. You can now add this donation to any Click + Collect order you place on the Greggs App with just the tap of a button. It’s never been easier to do good while enjoying your faves.
As we approach the 25-year anniversary of our first Breakfast Club opening in 1999, we’re proud to continue giving children a kick-start to their day.
Together, we can help to open even more Breakfast Clubs and be one step closer to our goal of over 1,000 clubs feeding 70,000 children every day by 2025.
